Does the doctor need my medical history?
Your detailed history is generally not needed, as the locum doctor aims to deal with the immediate problem and then will communicate with your regular GP to facilitate continuity of your treatment and ongoing care.
If specific records are required, we may be able to contact your own GP. A full clinical treatment report will be forwarded to your own GP for your medical record shortly after the home consultation.
The privacy and confidentiality of your health information is protected in accordance with Federal and State legislation. Only authorised personnel have access to your health information.
